Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope that you are all keeping safe and well as we continue to make our way through the many challenges that Covid-19 has presented us all with. You may be aware that the government are currently saying that they are hoping for all pupils to return to school in September so that the disruption to learning stops. As we continue to plan and prepare for this, I will keep you updated and share information with you. However, I wanted to share some key information and dates with you now:
The remainder of this academic year:
Week beginning: Monday 13th July 2020 – End of year reports sent to parents via email. These will be sent by class teachers so please make sure we have your correct email address.
Parents who have children on the special needs register will receive their SEN review and new one page profiles when we return in September.
Friday 17th July 2020 – Official end of this academic year. School closes for the summer holidays.
The new academic year:
Staff will return to school on Tuesday 1st September and will be involved in statutory training. Term will start on:
Thursday 3rd September 2020 for pupils in Years 1-6
Children starting in Reception and Nursery will receive a separate letter detailing their start dates and transition arrangements
Throughout the epidemic, we have followed government advice and guidelines and will continue to do so in order to keep our children and staff as safe as we can. We are really looking forward to welcoming back all of our children so that they can continue their learning journey with us.
Thank you for your continued support. Please take care and keep safe and well.
