We hope you enjoy reading 'Issue 19: February 2018' online now.
In this issue we look at how we celebrated Safer Internet Day 2018 as part of our PACT Online Safety Week.
If you have a concern regarding your child's use of the internet at home or in school, you can speak to one of our Online Safety Leads for support and advice.
Here are the resources that accompany this terms Online Safety Parent Workshops. The theme is "Encouraging Online Respect".
The theme for this years Online Safety week is: Create, Connect and Share Respect. A better internet starts with you!
During the week, the children will be exploring how they can make the internet a safer place for all people around the world. On Tuesday (Safer Internet Day), they will be making their own online safety pledge, where they will get the chance to explain how they feel they can make the internet a better place. Keep an eye out on the school twitter feed @paprimary for updates on what your child is doing.
The following week, we will be holding Online Safety Parent Workshops. The theme for this will be: Encouraging Respect Online. Here you will also have the opportunity to ask any online safety questions in a relaxed and informal setting. The workshops will take place on Tuesday 13th February @ 3pm in the Junior Hall. All parents and carers are welcome.
