From 21st September to 25th September 2015 is our Attendance & Punctuality Week. During this week we will be monitoring attendance and punctuality daily and talking to your children about the importance of regular attendance and punctuality.
It has been proven that poor attendance directly effects attainment. Your children can only learn if they come to school every day on time.
There will be daily stickers and fabulous prizes for the best attendance during this week. We will also have our Attendance Mascot outside to greet the children. Therefore it would be amazing if we could achieve 97%+ with NO late children.
We look forward to your on-going anticipated support to promote excellent attendance and punctuality.

On Friday 25th September we will be joining others from around the world in a Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan nurses providing support and care for people facing cancer. 2.5 million people in the UK are battling cancer. Macmillan not only helps those with cancer but also provide support for family and friends affected by it.
To help raise money for this fantastic cause we will be holding a coffee morning at school on Friday 25th September at 9am in the junior hall. The staff will be baking cakes which the children will be selling to parents on the day. All money raised from the cake sales will go towards the Macmillan charity.
We have lots of the school Senior Leaders including the Head Teacher coming along to have a cup of tea and a slice of cake at the coffee morning. This is a great opportunity for parents to come and have an informal chat with school leaders, get to know them a little better and find out about other things that are happening in school and coming up across the year.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Trust Pastoral Leader.
We are writing to invite you to an important Year 6 meeting regarding secondary school choices.
This meeting will support you in making this important decision and in ensuring that all of the necessary paperwork is completed correctly, and on time.
It will be held in the Junior Hall next Monday (28th September) and will start promptly at 3pm.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Welcome back to the start of the new academic year. We hope you have had a pleasant and restful break. We have some exciting new attendance incentives this year and I am hoping attendance will be the best yet! At Prince Albert we have attendance procedures in place to ensure the health and safety of our children. Please can you ensure that these procedures are followed at all times.
