RE: Homework
Collins Homework books
We have invested some of our recovery funding into homework resources for the 3 core subjects: Maths, Reading and English, for all children in Years 1 to 6. This investment will ensure consistency in homework across school, allowing all pupils access to appropriate resources for their age range/understanding.
We ask that you support your child in taking good care of their workbooks and ensure they are returned to school for teachers to check and acknowledge every week. The homework tasks for the relevant week will be shared with children at the beginning of each half term. Please do not work ahead. It is important that these resources are used to consolidate skills being taught at school. Homework will be issued every Friday and children will be expected to bring their workbooks back every Wednesday.
All lost/damaged books will need to be paid for by parents, the cost for this will be 5 pounds
