During this current period of school closure, we are now pleased to be able to offer eligible parents and pupils access to free school meals by supplying supermarket eGift cards, that can be spent locally to you. The DfE have funded these eGift cards as part of a national scheme. You will be able to choose which supermarket you would like an eGift card for including Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Tesco and more.

Understandably, we have had a lot of enquiries from parents about laptops and devices from the Department for Education (DfE) for families who need them. We are doing everything we can to support families who need a device or need to be connected to the internet. At this moment in time, we have been allocated just over 80 devices across our 5 schools (which currently serve just over 3000 pupils).

Following the Prime Ministers announcement on Monday 4th January 2021 confirming School closures until February half term 2021, school will now be closed to all pupils except for pupils of critical workers and vulnerable pupils.

Firstly, please allow me to wish you all a very Happy New Year. I hope that 2021 will be a much better year for us all. Over the past few days, you will have undoubtedly seen lots of news/media coverage regarding the revised tier system and school closures. I appreciate that this information can be confusing. Therefore, please allow me to explain the current position for our school.
During the Christmas holiday, we are pleased to be able to continue to offer eligible parents and pupils access to free school meals by supplying supermarket eGift cards, that can be spent locally to you, funded by Birmingham City Council.
During the week commencing 14th December, eligible pupils from Reception to Year 6 will be issued with a £30 eCode, the equivalent of £15 per week, £3 per meal, for two weeks.
Dear Parents/Carers,
Christmas Jumper Day: Friday 11th December - children can wear their most festive jumper to school on this day. There is no financial contribution expected for this event.
Food for Christmas Parties: Please ensure that any food given is shop bought only and contains no nuts, traces of/or lentils. All packaged food must be brought into school by Monday 14th December so that they can be quarantined before the party.

We are pleased to announce that The Active Wellbeing Society can offer a new free equipment loan service for Birmingham and North Solihull communities. The items will be available to loan for a minimum of 2 weeks, and TAWS are following Covid-19 safety precautions so we can safely continue to offer this service during lockdown. Items available include sports and physical activity equipment, as well as gardening tools- to keep the whole family active! You can request items through the form below, and the TWAS will be in touch within 72 hours to confirm and arrange your loan.
